Crownly keeps 15% of each entry. Your cut comes from what's left; the rest is the prize pool. If an entrant arrives via someone's share link, that sharer gets 3% (taken before your cut). Free ($0) contests don't pay hosts.

Both. Free contests are great for engagement but pay hosts nothing. Paid entries fund the prize pool and your cut.
What does it cost to host?
Your first contest's setup fee is waived automatically. After that there's an up-front creation fee based on reach, size and length — see Pricing. Any prize seed you add is held separately.
How do payouts work?
Earnings are tracked in our ledger and released after a 14-day hold. You withdraw through Stripe Connect after a quick onboarding.
Who can enter?
Crownly is for US residents 18+. Contests are skill/popularity votes, not raffles or lotteries.
