Official Rules
Crownly · Working draft for counsel review · Not legal advice
Last updated July 30, 2026
Crownly is the legal sponsor and platform operator of Crownly contests. Creators act as hosts under these platform rules: they choose contest themes and settings, but Crownly administers the contest experience, safety review, and payout workflow. The rules below are the baseline Crownly rules unless a contest clearly says otherwise.
- Eligibility: 18+; US only; void where prohibited. Geo-fenced states per counsel list.
- How to enter: Pay the stated entry fee in Crownly credits during the signup window; submit one allowed media item and caption. Creators choose whether entries accept images, videos, or both. Videos are capped at the stated short duration.
- Winner selection: Crownly contests are skill/popularity competitions, not gambling, chance games, raffles, or lotteries. Winners are ranked by verified community popularity votes (one vote per user per contest; voters may switch contestants). Contest creators cannot vote in their own contests, and contestants cannot vote in contests they entered. Ties may be broken by earlier entry time or platform safety review.
- Prizes: Escrowed prize pool = prize seed + entry fees net of disclosed platform rake, referral/share rewards when applicable, and the creator's disclosed cut. Winners are paid via Stripe Connect after any hold window. Creator cut is released to the host at settlement.
- Sponsor: Crownly is the contest sponsor and platform operator. Creators are contest hosts subject to Crownly's platform rules. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor and is not involved in the contest in any manner. Google LLC is not a sponsor and is not involved in selecting winners or paying prizes.
- Cancellation: Underfill may cancel with entry credit refunds per platform policy.
